PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel driving device in which a peak value of voltage/current at charging or discharging of a discharge cell on a display panel, is reduced. SOLUTION: A pulse generating means for supplying a driving pulse to a capacitive light emitting element arranged in each intersection of a plurality of row electrode pairs and column electrodes, is provided with a charging/discharging resonance circuit for performing charging and discharging to the capacitive light emitting element via an inductor, and a harmonics superposition circuit for superposing a harmonics current having a harmonics frequency of a resonance frequency of the charging/discharging resonance circuit to charging/discharging current by the charging/discharging resonance circuit.
