PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system for two-storied dwelling house capable of performing ventilation of rooms of the first floor and the second floor in a balanced manner by use of one ventilation unit regardless of the distances from the ventilation unit. SOLUTION: This ventilation system comprises the ventilation unit 1 having one discharge port and an even number of intake ports. Major diameter suction ducts 13 and 14 for second floor are connected to the half of the intake ports, and the suction ducts 13 and 14 are branched to branch ducts 17-20 through two-branch pipes 15 and 16 for second floor under the second floor ceiling. The end of each branch duct is connected to a suction grill 21 set on the second floor ceiling surface. A two-branch pipe 7 for first floor is connected to the other half of the intake ports, minor diameter suction ducts 8-11 are connected to the respective branch ports thereof, and the ends of the minor diameter suction ducts are connected to suction grills 12 arranged on the first floor ceiling surface.
