PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a working bench scaffold for a hoistway capable of reducing a working load by eliminating a stage difference between scaffold plates and a landing floor to smoothly move equipment. SOLUTION: A pair of first receiver fittings 6 are provided with the predetermined distance from each other in the width direction of a landing 3 by placing one side of L-shape thereof on the top surface of a landing sill 4 and suspending the other side of the L-shape into the hoistway, and a pair of second receiver fittings 8 are fitted to a depth wall surface 2 opposite to the landing 3 with the predetermined distance from each other in the width direction of the landing 3, while forming each of receiver surfaces 8a in the same height positions. A pair of receiver beams 5 are stretched in parallel with each other by fixing one end surface thereof to the other side of the first receiver fitting 6 and placing the other side thereof on the receiver surface 8a. Each of the receiver beams 5 is fastened for fixation to the second receiver fitting 8 on the other side thereof by a fixing fitting 7, a bolt 11 and a nut 12. Scaffold plates 9 are stretched between the pair of receiver beams 5 in parallel with each other in the depth direction of the hoistway 1, while forming longitudinal direction thereof in the width direction of the landing 3.
