PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouthpiece pedestal sealing method capable of ensuring high airtightness at a mouthpiece pedestal part of a can with an inner surface thereof covered with a resin, and a laminate can having a mouthpiece pedestal sealed by the sealing method. SOLUTION: A mouthpiece member 110 mounted on a mouthpiece pedestal 6 is melted to bond a resin material 1 for corrosion resistance at the mouthpiece pedestal part with the mouthpiece member. Therefore, no space is present between the resin material for corrosion resistance at the mouthpiece pedestal part and the mouthpiece member, and high airtightness of the can can be maintained.
