PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a single color process mode for using out ink as much as possible when an ink in a color runs out, in a printing device using a plurality of colors of ink for printing. SOLUTION: The ink remaining amount of each ink tank corresponding to colors is stored. When the remaining amount of a given color ink runs out, the monochrome process mode for printing in color inks other than the given color is executed to continuously use the inks without having to replace the ink tank with a new one.
