PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite confectionery comprising ice cream and pretzel, having new palate feeling: and to provide a method for producing the confectionery. SOLUTION: The frozen confectionery comprises a stick-like or cylindrical pretzel, a waterproof edible layer coating a part or the whole of the outside of the pretzel, an ice cream layer coating the outside of the waterproof edible layer, wherein a part not coated with the ice cream layer is a holding part. The method comprises preparing a stick-like pretzel, freezing the stick-like pretzel with freezing material, coating the outside of the pretzel with chocolate, and coating the chocolate-coated pretzel with the ice cream in layer while leaving the holding part.
