PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply mount/dismount and fix a box to a separate installation member. SOLUTION: The box 10 consists of a box body 12 to be detachably mounted on the separate installation member 60, a box lid 14 for closing the upper opening of the box body 12, a grip member 56 provided at a required position on the external surface of the box lid 14 and capable of displacing in posture between a non-usable state and a usable state, and a locking member 100 provided at a required position on the box body 12 and capable of engaging with/disengaging from a lock receiving member 66 provided on the installation member 60. When the grip member 56 is displaced in posture to the usable state, the locking member 100 does not lock with the lock receiving member 66, permitting the box body 12 to be separated from the installation member 60, and when the grip member 56 is displaced in position to the non-usable state, the locking member 100 locks with the member 66, permitting the box body 12 to be fixed to the installation member 60.
