<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal core for preventing saturation characteristics from decreasing even if the shape is miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: In the toroidal core 40A, a plurality of irregularities 64 are formed on the inner-periphery surface. The irregularities 64 are formed by arranging a plurality of grooves 66 extended axially to the toroidal core 40A along the inner periphery.
