PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass composition which is used as a base material of an electronic material and improves the reliability of the electronic material. SOLUTION: The glass composition is obtained by incorporating an inorganic cation exchanger into a glass composition for the base material of the electronic material or incorporating an inorganic anion exchanger and an inorganic cation exchanger into the glass composition.
