PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cassette capable of preventing an ink ribbon from adhering to a conveyance face of a conveyance passage provided therein. SOLUTION: There is disclosed the ink ribbon cassette provided with a ribbon housing section for housing an endless ink ribbon and a ribbon conveyance gear for conveying the ink ribbon to form the conveyance passage of the ink ribbon between an exit and an entrance of the ribbon housing section along the wall face of the cassette case. A plurality of projections for preventing the ink ribbon from adhering to the wall face of the cassette case forming the conveyance passage are formed on the wall face and the tip end of each projection is convexed.
