PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only enhance uniformness of a coating material but also certainly washing/removing the remained coating material by the required minimum washing fluid. SOLUTION: In the coating material stirring device, the predetermined number of coating material flowing-in ports (6...) are formed on an upstream side annular part (3a) of a liquid film flow passage (3) formed by superposing a conical recession surface (5A) and a conical projection surface (5B) with a predetermined clearance and a flowing-out port (7) formed on a downstream side apex part (3b) is communicated with a conduit stirrer (4). The washing fluid is fed to check valves (9) for preventing reverse flow of the coating material arranged on the respective coating material flowing-in ports (6...) from the downstream side and a washing flow passage (11) for washing the liquid film flow passage (3) and the conduit stirrer (4) is formed.
