<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording body, the ground affinity and raggedness of which are improved, which has a favorable ink absorbency for making high speed recording possible and is very suitable for dye and pigment ink very favorable in gloss and image density. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording body, which has a first coating layer including a pigment and a binder on a gas permeable base material, and at least a second coating layer including a pigment and a binder provided on the first coating layer, the first coating layer includes titanium dioxide as the pigment and the second coating layer has substantially a peak in a pore diameter distribution curve of not more than 0.06 μm and includes at least one kind selected from the group consisting of silica, alumina and aluminous hydrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
