<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting construction method of indeterminate form refractories that can improve workability in casting construction and produce a precise and corrosion-resistant structure by ensuring sufficiently uniform mixing even by kneading for a relatively short time. <P>SOLUTION: The construction method of indeterminate form refractories comprises mixing a mainly fine-grained refractory material, a dispersant and water to prepare slurry of a controlled viscosity of 12.5 to 500 Pa s measured with a Brookfield viscometer at 25°C and 3 rpm, and at construction, kneading a mainly coarse-grained refractory material, a binder and coarse refractory grains of a grain size of 9.5 to 45 mm in an amount of 5 to 50% by mass of 100% by mass of refractory materials included in entire indeterminate form refractories and casting the mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
