<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shunt for current measurement of excellent transition responsiveness capable of measuring a current even at a high-frequency, in the shunt for measuring a direct current and an alternating current. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of number of thin element wires 11 having the same length and same wire size is connected in parallel, a current sensor 15 is provided in one of the element wires 11 connected in parallel, each of the element wires 11 is an insulated conductor, folded in its midway, and stranded.
