<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layering shaping method for simply and quickly forming a high-strength three-dimensional solid. <P>SOLUTION: This shaping method comprises: forming a material powder layer 52<SB>2</SB>by flattening a powder material 51<SB>2</SB>into a predetermined thickness according to a sort of the material powder 51<SB>2</SB>; successively, locally heating and melting a region of the material powder layer 52<SB>2</SB>corresponding to a designed cross-sectional shape at a layered position of the material powder layer 52<SB>2</SB>in an aiming three-dimensional shape, with a laser beam L1 which does not substantially scatter the material, then solidifying it to form a cross-sectional element 55<SB>2</SB>; next irradiating the cross-sectional element 55<SB>2</SB>with a laser beam L2 to locally heat the part and integrating the part with the already shaped part; and then performing surface shaping where the cross-sectional element 55<SB>2</SB>is shaped with a laser beam L3, and thereafter, the shaped cross-sectional element 57<SB>2</SB>is irradiated with a laser beam L4 to smoothen the surface of the cross-sectional element 57<SB>2</SB>. Thereafter, the above steps of the material formation, cross-sectional element formation, integration and surface shaping are repeated to form the aiming three-dimensional shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
