PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a brush holder capable of holding an electric circuit component easily and rigidly while ensuring waterproofness and insulation of the electric circuit component. SOLUTION: In a circuit arrangement process (resin body molding process and connection process), a choke coil C is held to be exposed to the outside of a brush holder resin body 7a. In the resin body molding process, a brush holder resin body 7a is molded integrally such that brush side and connector side terminals 12 and 13 are buried while exposing a part to the outside. In the connection process following to the resin body molding process, a noise prevention terminal 13c, i.e. a part of the exposed connector side terminal 13, is connected electrically with the choke coil C. In a coating process, a coating portion 14a for coating at least a part of the brush holder resin body 7a including the choke coil C is molded integrally with the brush holder resin body 7a of the same material as a sealing material 14 for preventing intrusion of liquid into the motor case (simultaneously therewith).
