PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of simply editing a display position of image data and reproducing the edited image data. SOLUTION: A file generating unit 15 generates a video track atom on the basis of an edit instruction and edit object data under the control of a system control microcomputer, and allows a memory 15A to store the video track atom, and generates a GRDC sample of movie data atom on the basis of the edit instruction and the video track atom and allows an optical disk 2 to record the data of the generated movie data atom. Then the file generating unit 15 generates a GRDC track atom on the basis of the generated GRDC sample, stores it to the memory 15A, generates a movie atom by using each track atom or the like stored in the memory 15A, and allows the optical disk 2 to record the data of the generated movie atom.
