PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a display failure caused by charge on a front substrate surface is solved and in which display quality is superior. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a rear face substrate 120, a front face substrate 110 and a transparent conductive layer. The rear face substrate 120 has a plurality of electron emission elements. The front face substrate 110 has a display face, is oppositely arranged to the rear face substrate 120 with a space, and has a plurality of fluorescent material layers corresponding to the plurality of electron emission elements.
