PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound that can be used to obtain a nonactivated fused silica capillary column with reduced tailing and high resolution, and usage thereof, and to provide the fused silica capillary column using the compound. SOLUTION: The compound is expressed by Formula (I) (where R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, n and m are as defined in the specifications). The invention is processed by the compound in Formula (I) and provides products containing the fused silica capillary column arbitrarily coated by a stationary-phase material.
