PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealer for a board box for a game machine by which a board box can be securely sealed to prevent unfair act of altering game contents while the unfair act can be early detected even when such unfair act is performed. SOLUTION: When unit members 20, 30 are assembled to a box body 41 and a box lid 42, the box lid 42 is put on the box body 41, and a seal metal fitting 11 is pressed into an insertion hole 21b, an engaging claw 11c is retained in a retaining part H and a head part 11b is retained into an engagement hole 31a to retain the seal metal fitting 11 into a seal member 31. When the seal metal fitting 11 is further pressed into the seal member 31, the engaging claw 11c is engaged into the engaging hole 21c to unextractably retain the seal metal fitting 11 into the seal member 21. On the other hand, the head part 11b is engaged into the engaging hole 31a and, as a result, the box body 41 is unopenably connected to the box lid 42 to seal the board box 40.
