PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature for motor which can easily perform the connection of a coil molded of a rigid line material capable of reducing cogging torque and preventing the slippage between tooth blocks and maintaining the form of the coil singly. SOLUTION: Each tooth 4<SB>1</SB>-4<SB>12</SB>with its inner side coupled with the next by a junction 3<SB>1</SB>-3<SB>12</SB>is divided at each junction 3<SB>2</SB>, 3<SB>6</SB>and 3<SB>10</SB>, with plural adjacent teeth as a unit, thereby being constituted as a plurality of tooth units 4A, 4B, and 4C. Armature coils 6<SB>1</SB>-6<SB>12</SB>, which are independent and can maintain their form singly, are fitted in each tooth 4<SB>1</SB>-4<SB>12</SB>. Two pieces of armature coils of the same phase are connected in series by rigid coupling members 9<SB>1</SB>, 9<SB>2</SB>and 9<SB>3</SB>which can maintain their form singly. Armature coils of each phase arranged in circumferential direction are connected in series by rigid coupling members 8<SB>1</SB>and 8<SB>4</SB>, 8<SB>2</SB>and 8<SB>5</SB>, and 8<SB>3</SB>and 8<SB>6</SB>which can maintain their form singly. Each armature coil of U phase, V phase, and W phase is star-connected with the next by rigid coupling members 10<SB>1</SB>and 10<SB>2</SB>which can maintain their form singly.
