PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily smoke collection device having a good collection efficiency of oily smoke by a hood without being involved by enlargement of the hood or an exhausting blower. SOLUTION: In this oily smoke collection device for collecting oily smoke raised from a cooking table 2 by the hood 3 set above and exhausting the smoke out of a room by the exhausting blower 4, a negative pressure area is formed by a blower 6 which generates an air flow 5 of a direction not crossing the collecting passage of the oily smoke raised from the cooking table 2, and the raised oily smoke is deflected to a direction easy for the hood 3 to collect by this negative pressure area. The velocity of the air flow 5 is set to 8-26 m/s, and the air flow 5 is formed toward the lower part of a main body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
