PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and notify adhesion of scales to a water level sensor of a steam generator. SOLUTION: In a controller, a water temperature is monitored by a water temperature thermistor of a temperature sensor 48 when detecting a water level of a pot 41 by the water level sensor 43, and when the water temperature exceeds 110°C, it is judged that a water level thermistor of the water level sensor 43 can not carry out normal detection, and a pump is driven to carry out water supply. When the number of times of water supply based upon the detected temperature of the water temperature thermistor exceeds three times, it is judged that scales are adhered to the water level sensor 43, and a scale cleaning request is sent to a user. In such manner, when the water level thermistor can not carry out detection, it is judged whether or not it is due to scale adhesion, and the scale cleaning request can be sent at precise timing.
