PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature rise of a cooling chamber in a door device for refrigerator by prohibiting opening of a door by operation of the door device by a user's erroneous operation. SOLUTION: This door device comprises a control means controlling current-carrying to an electric door opening unit by operation of a door open switch, a setting means setting a prohibiting state for prohibiting the control of the control means and a general state validating the control of the control means, and outputting a signal to the control means in the general state, and a determination means determining the setting of the prohibiting state or the general state by signals of the door open switch and a door switch. According to this, the operation of the electric door opening unit is laid to the prohibiting state, whereby the opening of the door by the user's erroneous operation can be prevented.
