PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge installing method capable of smoothly installing a bridge between piers in a short time, by minimizing restriction on a place, while reducing cost, in a construction area unable to install a crane under a girder. SOLUTION: A plurality of steel wires 5 being a tension member 4 are tensioned in the longitudinal direction on a tip part upper surface of the bridge 1, and are fixed to the bridge 1. While applying bending stress for projecting the lower side to the bridge 1 by tension of these steel wires 5, the bridge 1 is sent out in the longitudinal direction upward onto the other pier from above one pier. Since the bridge 1 is installed between one pier and the other pier, even if the bridge 1 is sent out of one pier and put in a cantilever state, the applied bending stress negates downward deflection by dead weight of the bridge 1, and the bridge can be smoothly installed between the piers.
