摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the difficulty in using only an N-terminal 23-89 part as the target of a drug based on the concept that the N-terminal 23-89 part of a normal-type prion protein (PrPc) containing an octa-repeat and supposed to be necessary for the change of the normal-type prion to the abnormal-type prion is rich in glycine and is supposedly impossible to form a stable tertiary structure and the problem to necessitate the use of a whole length prion protein as the target in the case of selecting a molecule specifically bonding to a prion protein and usable for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of prion disease. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for the identification and separation of a nucleic acid molecule capable of recognizing a prion protein, a nucleic acid molecule produced by the method, a pharmaceutical composition and diagnostic composition containing the nucleic acid molecule specifically bonding to a prion protein, and a diagnostic method to use the molecule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
