<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, system and device for disclosing a workbook and calling it via a remote function call. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, a client computer executes a spreadsheet application program to create a workbook model. The workbook model and data defining cells used as the input and output of a function name and the model are disclosed to a server computer. When a function call to a workbook function is received by the server computer, the server computer inputs an input parameter received with the function call into the cell of the workbook identified as the input, and recalculates the workbook.
