PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable product to be easily opened/closed in a slide cover, and also to provide a slide unit which is suitablly used in the portable product so as to make the portable product itself small/thin. SOLUTION: The slide unit 20 comprises: a fixing board 21; a mobile board 22 slidably attached to the fixing board 21; and a linear or thin plate-like elastic member 23 attached to a part between the fixing board 21 and the mobile board 22. The elastic member 23 in a wave shape is attached between the fixing board 21 and the mobile board 23. The elastic member 23 is elastically deformed when the mobile board 22 is moved so as to allow an attachment part 23c to the mobile board 22 in the elastic member 23 to approach the attachment part 23b to the fixing board 21 in the elastic member 23, is elastically recovered when an attachment part 23c to the mobile board 22 in the elastic member 23 passes through the reverse point of the elastic member 23, and energizes the mobile board 22 in the movement direction.
