PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal label for preventing forgery and re-sticking which can be easily and surely manufactured. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal label 20 includes a transparent base material 22. On the rear face of the base material 22, a liquid crystal layer 24 composed of cholesteric liquid crystal is provided in such a manner as to be smaller than the base material 22 so as not to extend to the periphery of the base material 22. An adhesive layer 26 covering the liquid crystal layer 24 is provided on the rear face of the base material 22. A plurality of peeling cuts 28, 28, ... are formed on the base material 22, the liquid crystal layer 24, and the adhesive layer 26 in such a manner as to extend from the periphery of the base material 22 onto the liquid crystal layer 24.
