<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude damage for an owner of a stolen or lost portable electronic apparatus or a transmission partner. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic apparatus 1 comprises: a receiving unit 11 for receiving remote control data transmitted via a radio communication means; an identification unit 12 for identifying the remote control data received by the receiving unit 11; and a predetermined security unit 13 for excluding damage for an owner of the portable electronic apparatus 1 based on a result of the identification by the identification unit 12. When the portable electronic apparatus 1 is stolen or lost, before completing a line cancellation procedure by contacting a line provider company of networks or online systems, security processing is performed by the security unit 13, thereby improving security relating to assets or information of the owner of the portable electronic apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
