PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an opening notification of an e-mail, corresponding to an user's needs flexibility, managing the regular e-mail and notification of the opening, separately. SOLUTION: If a mail server 25 receives the regular e-mail addressing to a mobile station 10, it once stores this e-mail to an e-mail memory 254a, and transmits it to the mobile station 10. The mobile station 10, if it opens the e-mail, it will transmit the opening notification to an opening notification server 41 connected to the Internet, according to IP address added to the e-mail. If the opening notification server 41 receives notification of the opening, it stores this opening notification to an opening notification memory 254b, and transmits this opening notification, answering an acquisition request transmitted from the mobile station 10 according to operation by the user.
