<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a penpoint projecting-retracting structure which projects a penpoint by only a grip on a penholder on the occasion of the use and makes the penpoint 2a stored automatically when the grip is released after the use and which thus prevents the penpoint 2a from not being stored inadvertently. <P>SOLUTION: A core 2 is provided at the axial center of a pair of upper and lower curved-plate-shaped members 1a and 1b of which the rear ends are connected, and an opening 3 from which the penpoint 2a can be retractably moved is formed by the fore ends of the members 1a and 1b, while the core 2 and the members 1a and 1b are connected together by a foldable connecting member 5. By the grip on the occasion of the use, in this constitution, the curved-plate-shaped members 1a and 1b are pressed to be changed in the shape inward, while the connecting member 5 is so folded as to advance the core 2 and the penpoint 2a is projected from the opening 3.
