PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector or the like changing the non-linear characteristics of a non-linear circuit in response to the crest value of a received signal and being capable of correctly converting an analog signal into a digital signal. SOLUTION: An integrating circuit 80 obtains the crest value of the received signal on the basis of a signal (t) input from an FFT processing circuit 60. When the crest value is less than a reference value, a signal ha output from the non-linear A circuit 40a having the non-linear characteristics is digital-converted by an ADC circuit 50, and corrected by a correction A circuit 52a. When the crest value is higher than the reference value, the signal hb output from a wide non-linear B circuit 40b in a region displaying the non-linear characteristics is digital-converted by the ADC circuit 50, and corrected by a correction B circuit 52b.
