A hydroelectric power generation system is provided to get more electricity at a given flow rate and given water pressure head. A hydroelectric power generation system includes a water channel which guides water to a water turbine, columns(1,2,3,1-1,2-1,3-1), beams(27-2), an upper shaft, a lower shaft, an upper cylindrical rotating body(03), a lower cylindrical rotating body(05), water buckets(01) arranged in a transverse direction of belt connected between both cylindrical rotating bodies in a manner of a conveyor belt, a wall(33) for preventing water in buckets from being split, a frame(33-1) for holding the wall, a gap adjusting frame(07) for preventing shifting of bucket toward the other side, a main shaft(17) parallel to the shafts of cylindrical rotating bodies, a main pulley attached to the main shaft to receive torque transmitted from the turbine, a first power transmission belt connecting the main pulley and a pulley mounted on the lower cylindrical rotating body, a second power transmission belt mounted on the main shaft to transmit the delivered torque to the generator, and a power generator(19).
