<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect a circuit module incorporated in a portable terminal from a shock applied from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: In this portable terminal 1, a printed circuit board 40 is stored inside a case body 10 of the portable terminal 1, and is formed with an opening part 40a of prescribed shape. The circuit module 41 is mounted in the opening part 40a in the printed circuit board. A holding part 60 is provided in the case body 10, and holds the circuit module 41 in a prescribed position by pinching the circuit module 41. A first buffer member 70 is interposed between the printed circuit board 40 and the circuit module 41, and buffers the shock transmitted to the circuit module 41.
