PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically conduct various settings on demodulation processing as well as the setting of a received frequency in a tuning receiver section based on prepared preset data in tuning-receiving a broadcasting signal by the preset-type tuning receiver section and obtaining a reproducing output signal by applying the demodulation processing to the broadcasting signal. SOLUTION: A broadcasting signal receiver comprises: a preset data storage/reading means 31 storing the preset data obtained from a preset data formation means 30 on a data memory 24 and reading the preset data selected from the data memory 24 in accordance with data calling through an input operation section 21; and a control signal supply means 32 forming a control signal based on the preset data read from the data memory 24, supplying the preset data to the tuning receiver section 12 and a digital demodulation section 14, and forming a state receiving the broadcasting signal by the tuning receiver section 12 and conducting the demodulation processing by the digital demodulation section 14 in accordance with the selected preset data.
