AN APPARATUS FOR THE OUT-OF-FURNACE TREATMENT OF LIQUID METAL

The invention relates to the metallurgy and concerns the equipment for the out-of-furnace treatment of liquid metal. The apparatus contains tuyere with the angular nozzle, mechanisms for tuyere lifting up and rotation, gas supplying pipeline, lid and telescopic gas outlet which consists of immobile and mobile parts connected with the lid. Two vertical rods are connected with the mechanism for tuyere lifting and lid by means of hinged connections. In the immobile part of the gas outlet the gas ejector with circular nozzle is installed. Connection of the mobile part of gas outlet with lid is made cone and spherical. Technical result: reducing steel consumption and simplification of construction, excluding liquid metal splashing while immersion of tuyere.
