PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid for practicing a golf club allowing a user to learn the integrity of a grip by swinging while holding an assist grip, which is apt to sway during the swing, in parallel to the golf club and being useful for mastering an accurate golf swing. SOLUTION: This aid for practicing the golf club consists of an attachment member 3 for detachably attaching the golf club 1, and the assist grip 2 installed on the attachment member 3 apart from the golf club 1. The lower part of the assist grip 2 is hinged to the attachment member 3 so as to open the upper part of the assist grip 2 in the swing direction from the parallel state to the golf club 1.
