PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic composition which is useful for forming a hydrophilic film having excellent stain resistance, antifogging properties and abrasion resistance, and to provide a hydrophilic member that has a hydrophilic film formed from the hydrophilic composition and has a surface with excellent antifouling properties, antifogging properties and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The hydrophilic composition comprises (A) a hydrophilic polymer having (A1) a repeating unit of a urethane structure in a main chain, (A2) a hydrolyzable silyl group and (A3) a hydrophilic group. The hydrophilic polymer has the content of a repeating unit having a hydrophilic group to the total repeating unit constituting the polymer of≥50 mol%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
