The proposed portable earthing device can be used for protecting workers against electrical shock when working with electrically operated hand tools. The device contains a rectangular metallic frame made of angle pieces. To the corner parts of the frame, metallic pins are fixed, which can be in operative position or transport position. To the frame, a wire, which is connected to a tool, and handles for transporting and operating the device are attached. The proposed device ensures reliable earthing and is simple in operation.
