Method for determining offset errors of modulators and demodulators

A modulator and demodulator (1) in phase (3, 5, 7, 8) and quadrature (4, 6, 9, 10) signal offset error determination procedure by minimising a least squares difference from a noise free signal using a maximum likelihood procedure employing a linear equation system. Independent claims are included for computer program products implementing the procedure and digital memory storing the program.
