FIELD: manufacture of metallic vessels. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making blank in the form of coiled web with strips fluid-tightly secured to its surface; forming cylindrical body by uncoiling coiled web and joining its mutually abutted lengthwise edges; reinforcing body by means of helical rigidity ribs due to deforming strip and body part under said ribs; fastening bottom and lid. Before reinforcing cylindrical body with use of helical rigidity ribs, detachable soft jigs are arranged on body from above and below and they are fluid-tightly secured to end edges of body.
