摘要 FIELD: machine tool manufacture. ^ SUBSTANCE: in order to control motion of flying shears car that transports apparatus for measured-length working of continuously moving rolled piece or tube at constant motion speed of material from transporting apparatus, - flying shears car is speeded up in motion direction of material by means of speeding up-braking device. After speeding-up, car is moved simultaneously with material subjected to working and after working of material car is braked and speeded-up in reverse direction by means of similar speeding up-braking device arranged opposite relative to first one. Passive devices accumulating energy at car deceleration and giving accumulated energy at car speeding up in reverse direction are used as speeding up-braking devices. Said devices may be mounted with possibility of changing distance between them. Such distance is set while providing time period of car motion in both directions equal to time period of moving material (continuously moved by transporting apparatus) by distance equal to measured length of predetermined working pitch if speed value and length of zone of uniform-speed motion of car are the same in both directions. If speeding up-braking devices are mounted with possibility of step changing of distance between them or it is not possible to determine such distance with sufficient accuracy, said distance is selected as close as possible to optimal one. If said devices are mounted with possibility of stepwise changing distance between them or if it is not possible to accurately determine said distance or such distance is kept the same, car moves in reverse direction with acceleration that provides such car motion speed and such position of continuously moving material at time moment of contact of flying shears car with speeding up-braking device that after braking and further speeding up in motion direction of material, car speed is equal to material motion speed and position of car relative to worked material corresponds to measured length of working pitch. ^ EFFECT: lowered energy consumption, reduced power and mass values of driving members of car, increased maximum speed of worked material motion, improved operational accuracy of machine tool. ^ 3 dwg
