In lighting inspection of a display panel, a display condition equivalent to that of the display panel in a product state is realized to improve inspection accuracy. A lighting inspection device for performing inspection with a display panel (21) lit for display has a circuit board (27) on which a drive circuit for lighting for display the display panel (21) is provided, a chassis (25) having electrical conductivity providing ground potential for the drive circuit, and electrically conductive pillars (26) that is fixed to the chassis (25) and on which the circuit board (27) is installed. The chassis (25) and the pillars (26) are connected with soft metal (28) in between.
