<p>The automated gaming system is activated by placing a telephone call. The gaming system prompts the patron (70) for inputs, and it acts contextually based on patron voice commands interpreted by a voice recognition system (76). Once the telephone connection is made, all system activities are preferably voice-activated such that the patron (70) need not use the telephone keypad. The system preferably allows the patron (70) to establish an account including wagering funds and use the funds to play at least one automated, voice-driven casino-type game. The gaming system preferably includes a wagering feature, a gaming feature including a review of the present game being played as well as previous games, a help mode feature, and a speed mode feature.</p> |
