PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic force generator using an elastic structure of a lightweight and small-sized configuration and capable of properly generating elastic force by compression of the elastic structure.SOLUTION: An elastic force generator 8 includes: an elastic structure 41 that is formed into a multi-layer structure formed by alternately superposing elastic bodies 41 including sealed air chambers, and highly-rigid partition plates 42, and that includes through-holes 43 formed therein; and a flexible long member 32 penetrating through the through-holes 43. The elastic force generator is so configured that force is transmitted between the long members 32 and the elastic structures 31 such that, with an increase in tension of the long members 32, force of compressing the elastic structures 31 increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
