PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the following: further size reduction in a micro lens form; a micro lens array by the micro lens in a particular lens form, such as an aspheric surface lens form and a group of the unit micro lenses; accurate optical polishing states of a micro lens surface; unification of several ten millions and billions micro lenses in the micro lens array; a simple manufacturing method and manufacturing equipment; and mass production at low cost. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the die for forming the micro lens which manufactures the group of the micro lenses provided by approximating the plurality of the micro lenses, a mask 20 in which a blast hole 30 in a micro lens pattern condition is drilled is used for processing the die material (1) into a lens form for manufacture by means of blast processing.
