PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve wiping property of a windshield wiper blade by restraining vibration of a blade assembly between two holding parts. SOLUTION: This windshield wiper blade 18 has the blade assembly 23 composed by mounting a plate spring member 22 to a blade rubber piece 21, and a blade holer 24 connected to a wiper arm 14. The holding parts 33 and 36 are mounted at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the blade holder 24, and the blade assembly 23 is held to the blade holder 24 at the holding parts 33 and 36. The blade holder 24 is provided with a pair of restriction wall parts 41a, and an intermediate part of the blade assembly 23 slidingly contacts the respective restriction wall parts 41a in intermediate parts of the respective holding parts 33 and 36 in a direction vertical to the windshield glass. The blade assembly 23 may be brought into contact with the restriction wall parts 41a on a side face of the blade rubber 21 or on a side face of the plate spring member 22.
