PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing 1 comprising a cage 2 holding a plurality of rollers 3 and at least one race 4 non-separative therefrom, having inexpensive construction of hardly separating the race 4 from the cage 2. SOLUTION: The race 4 has a flange 42 provided on the side of the outer diameter of an annular plate portion 41 as the raceway surface for the rollers 3 along the axial direction and a ring locking piece 43 provided all over the flange 42 at its front end so as to be extruded inward to the radial direction and hitched on the side of the outer diameter of the cage 2 in the axial direction. Hardening heat treatment is applied only to the annular plate portion 41, and the ring locking piece 43 is softer than the annular plate portion 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
