PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container capable of simplifying the structure of a mold, excellent in the strength against falling, without forming a gap between a cosmetic tray storage recess and a cosmetic tray. SOLUTION: The cosmetic container comprises a container body 1 with the cosmetic tray storage recess 1a formed on the upper face, a lid body for covering the upper face of the container body 1, the cosmetic tray 3 in which a cosmetic material 4 is stored, and an elastic center frame 5 detachably stored in the cosmetic tray storage recess 1a of the container body 1 for detachably holding the cosmetic tray 3. A notched recess 11 is formed over the whole circumference of the inner surface of the cosmetic tray storage recess 1a of the container body 1. The elastic center frame 5 is formed as an annular frame body which can be detachably stored in the notched recess 11, and the cosmetic tray 3 is detachably held by the elastic center frame 5 by bringing the inner surface of the elastic center frame into pressure-contact with the outer surface of the cosmetic tray 3.
